Description

The Tabby is a 216mm flush ceiling light with a clear glass globe shade and a polished nickel ceiling plate and bulb holder assembly. The glass is blown into a near-spherical form with a wider equator and a slightly flattened top and base, sitting 235mm proud of the ceiling once fitted. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the globe, with the clear glass leaving the bulb fully visible.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, the Tabby suits hallways, bathrooms, utility rooms, kitchens and bedroom corridors. The 235mm overall drop is low enough to avoid head clearance issues in tight spaces whilst providing more vertical presence than a basic disc-style flush fitting. The clear glass allows the chosen bulb to dominate the visual effect — pairing with a vintage filament-style LED gives a decorative accent, whilst a standard frosted LED gives diffuse ambient light.

The polished nickel finish on the metalwork provides a cool silver tone with a high-sheen reflective surface, contrasting with the transparent glass and pairing comfortably with chrome taps, brushed steel handles and stainless worktops in kitchens and bathrooms.
