Description

This Knightsbridge switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'MICROWAVE' in grey lettering on a matt white ABS face. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and clips onto Knightsbridge grid-format switch modules, replacing the plain rocker supplied with the original switch. The steel spring mechanism inside the rocker provides tactile feedback when pressed and returns the rocker to the centre position.

Designed for kitchens, utility rooms and offices where multiple appliances are controlled from a single grid plate, the marked cover lets users identify which switch controls the microwave without trial and error or sticky labels. The rocker clips on and off without tools, making it straightforward to change designations if appliance positions are reconfigured or if the switch is reassigned to a different appliance.

The matt white finish matches Knightsbridge's white grid range and most white wiring accessories from other manufacturers. The IP20 rating means the cover is suitable for dry indoor locations but not for splash zones in bathrooms or outdoor use. Yes. The rocker fits all Knightsbridge grid-format switch modules. It clips onto the existing switch mechanism and replaces the plain rocker supplied with the switch.

Can I swap the cover without removing the switch from the wall?

Yes. The rocker clips on and off the front of the switch module without needing to remove the grid plate from the wall or disconnect any wiring. Gently pull the existing rocker forward to release the spring clips, then push the new rocker into place until it clicks.
