Description

This Knightsbridge switch cover is a pre-printed matt white rocker marked 'DISHWASHER' in grey lettering, designed to fit modular grid switches controlling kitchen appliances. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and clips onto the metal rocker mechanism of a compatible 20A double-pole grid switch, replacing the blank cover supplied as standard.

Designed for kitchen installations where fixed appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines and tumble dryers are controlled by individual grid switches, the marked cover eliminates confusion over which switch controls which appliance. The cover is particularly useful in rental properties, multi-occupancy homes, and commercial kitchens where occupants may not be familiar with the electrical layout. The rocker can be removed and replaced with a different designation if the appliance changes without rewiring the switch itself.

The matt white ABS construction matches standard white modular grid faceplates and provides a low-sheen finish that resists fingerprints and marks better than gloss white alternatives. The steel internal spring mechanism gives the rocker a positive click action when switched. At 6.8mm projection from the faceplate, the cover sits flush with typical grid switch assemblies and does not protrude enough to catch on passing objects or clothing.
