Description

This surface mounting bracket is designed specifically for the Knightsbridge POTHB1 high bay light, allowing the fitting to be mounted on flush walls, beams, or structural surfaces rather than suspended from a chain or cable. The bracket is fabricated from steel with a black powder-coated finish and measures 207mm long by 150mm projection, providing a rigid stand-off from the mounting surface.

Intended for warehouse, workshop, and industrial settings where overhead suspension points are unavailable or impractical, the bracket converts the POTHB1 from a pendant-style high bay to a wall or beam-mounted floodlight. The steel construction supports the weight of the high bay fitting (typically 3-5kg depending on model) and maintains alignment under continuous operation. Fixing holes on both the vertical mounting plate and horizontal top bar accept M6 or M8 fasteners depending on the substrate.

The 150mm projection positions the POTHB1 away from the wall or beam face, allowing the light to clear the mounting surface and direct output downward or at an angle depending on how the high bay is attached to the bracket. The black finish matches standard industrial fixings and blends with typical workshop and warehouse colour schemes. Installation requires two fixing points on the vertical plate and compatible fasteners for the mounting surface (concrete anchors, wood screws, or beam clamps sold separately).

No. This bracket is engineered specifically for the Knightsbridge POTHB1 high bay. The mounting hole pattern and weight rating are matched to that model and may not align with other high bay fittings.

What fixings are needed for installation?

The bracket has fixing holes for M6 or M8 fasteners. The specific fasteners required depend on the mounting substrate: concrete anchors for masonry, wood screws for timber beams, or beam clamps for steel I-beams. Fixings are not included with the bracket.
