Description

This glass octopus figurine sits curled over a clear glass rock, its rounded blue head striped with fine lines of deeper blue. Two white eyes with black centres give it a friendly, watchful look, and its pale blue tentacles spill down and around the rock, several of them turning up into a small curl at the tip. The clear rock beneath holds tiny air bubbles that catch the light, so the whole piece reads like a little scene from a rock pool. It stands 9.8cm tall, 9.6cm wide and 9.7cm deep, a compact size that slips easily into a gap on a crowded shelf.

Being glass, it looks its best where daylight or lamplight can reach it. A sunny windowsill, a bookshelf beside a lamp or a desk by the window all let the blues glow and the bubbles sparkle.
