Description
A super king bed frame in mango wood, 191.6cm wide and 211.7cm from head to foot, standing 120cm at the headboard. The four posts are topped with turned finials, and a low panelled footboard closes the foot end. The wood is sandblasted, a process that cuts back the softer growth and leaves the grain standing proud of the surface instead of sanded flat. A linen headpad sits across the headboard and is removable.
At 191.6cm wide and 211.7cm long this takes a super king footprint, the larger of the two widths the Sri is made in. The headboard stands 120cm from the floor, which makes the head of the bed the tallest line in most bedrooms and gives the headpad something to be sat back against. The frame is rated to carry 400kg.
The frame is mango wood and the headpad is linen, laced to the headboard round its edges with a contrasting tan cord and tied at the tops of the head posts. The headpad is made in a natural and an olive tone, and this is the natural one. Each frame is carved and assembled by hand using traditional woodworking, so the depth of the sandblasted texture and the run of the grain differ from bed to bed. The Sri is made in two widths, 161.6cm and 191.6cm, and both are 211.7cm long.

Frequently Asked
Is the headpad removable?
Yes. It is linen, laced to the headboard with a contrasting tan cord, and it is made in a natural and an olive tone.
What is the finish on the wood?
Sandblasted. The process cuts back the softer wood and leaves the grain standing, which is what gives the frame its texture.
Is there a smaller one?
Yes. The Sri is made in two widths, 161.6cm and 191.6cm, and both are 211.7cm long.
How do I look after it?
Wipe the surfaces regularly with a soft, dry cloth, always along the direction of the grain. Mild soap and water can be used, but not in excess, as too much water will damage the finish. Keep harsh chemicals and abrasive materials away from it, use coasters and mats, blot any spill immediately, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight, which will fade it.
