Description
The Sri is a two door wardrobe in mango wood, 195cm high, 110cm wide and 58cm deep. Behind the doors a rail runs the full width for hanging, with a removable shelf across the cabinet below it. Under the doors sit two full width drawers, each with a pair of plain wood pulls. The doors are framed and panelled, the carcass stands clear of the floor on four short turned legs, and the wood is sandblasted, so the grain stands up in ridges under the hand instead of being sanded flat.
At 195cm this is a full height piece, and the ceiling and any coving want checking before it goes in. The shelf sits about halfway up the cabinet, so the hanging space above it takes shirts and jackets rather than anything full length; lift the shelf out and the rail has the whole height of the cabinet under it. The two drawers below take what does not hang. At 110cm wide it fills the wall a single fitted run would, and the Sri bedside table stands beside it.
The wood is mango throughout, cut only once the trees have finished bearing fruit. Each piece is carved and put together by hand using traditional joinery, and the sandblasting raises the grain differently on every panel, so no two wardrobes carry the same surface. The Sri range also holds a bed in king and super king, in this natural tone and in moss, a bedside table and a chest of drawers. The wardrobe weighs 80.8kg.

Frequently Asked
How big is the wardrobe?
195cm high, 110cm wide and 58cm deep.
What is inside?
A hanging rail across the full width, a removable shelf below it, and two full width drawers under the doors.
Can the shelf come out?
Yes. Taking it out gives the hanging rail the full height of the cabinet.
Is it solid wood?
Yes, mango throughout, sandblasted rather than sanded smooth.
How heavy is it?
80.8kg.
How should I look after it?
Wipe it regularly with a soft dry cloth, always along the grain. Mild soap and water can be used, but not much water. Deal with spills at once and keep harsh chemicals and abrasive materials away. Strong sunlight fades the finish, and large swings in heat or humidity can crack the wood.
