Description

This storage basket is shaped like a rocket, with a pointed nose, a rounded body and triangular fins at its base. It is 70% rattan and 30% iron, with the rattan woven in a natural tone, and the nose lifts away as the lid to open up the body for storage. Woven bands and a porthole ring in contrasting tones pick out the details of a spacecraft. At 31cm across and 35cm tall, it is a floor-standing size: a sensible home for a child's everyday toys, and small enough to sit beside a bed without crowding it.
