The Knightsbridge Small Cage Pendant is a 150mm diameter steel wire cage shade in matt black, designed to fit over vintage-style E27 lamp holders and pendant fittings. The cage itself is a decorative shade component rather than a complete pendant light — it requires a separate lamp holder, bulb, and ceiling pendant fitting to create a working light.

Designed for kitchens, hallways, utility rooms and industrial-style interiors where exposed bulb fittings are preferred, the cage adds structure and visual weight around a bare filament bulb without blocking the light output. The 150mm diameter and 200mm height suit compact pendant drops over kitchen islands, side-by-side installations in galley kitchens, or single pendants in hallways and bathrooms where a larger shade would feel too heavy.

The matt black steel finish pairs cleanly with black braided flex, matt black lamp holders and industrial or warehouse-style interiors. The cage is compatible with Knightsbridge's vintage lamp holder range (8271xx series, TRK8271xx, and CALLA Vintage models) and fits most standard UK pendant fittings with cord grips that accept the cage's entry collar. The steel construction is powder-coated to resist surface wear and finger marks during installation.

No. The cage is a decorative shade component only. You need a separate E27 lamp holder (Knightsbridge 8271xx series or equivalent), bulb, and ceiling pendant fitting to create a complete working light.

The cage carries no IP rating and is designed for indoor use only. For outdoor installations you would need a separate IP-rated lamp holder and pendant fitting rated for the environmental exposure level.

What size bulb fits inside the cage?

The 150mm internal diameter comfortably fits standard E27 Edison screw bulbs including ST64 and A60 filament styles. Oversized globe bulbs above 100mm diameter may protrude beyond the cage profile.
