Description

This sitting cat figurine is a tabby at rest, made in polystone, a resin, with every tuft of fur picked out in fine textured detail. The coat is a warm brown with darker stripes across the back, flanks and legs, while the chest, paws and muzzle are a soft cream. Pink lines the inside of the ears, the nose is a pale pink and the eyes are dark and glossy, giving the face a calm, watchful look. The cat sits upright with its front paws together and its tail laid along the ground beside them. It stands 31.5cm tall, 24cm wide and 24cm deep.

At that height it sits happily on a wide windowsill, a console table, a bookcase or the end of a sideboard, looking out across the room much as a real cat might. In a hallway, living room, study or bedroom it brings warmth to a quiet corner. The detail carries all the way round, with the stripes continuing over the back and tail, so it looks just as good on a table in the middle of a room as it does against a wall.
