This is a single candle holder made entirely of marble, 8cm across and 12.5cm tall, in a green stone flecked and veined with paler mineral. Its profile is the traditional one of a candlestick: a flared cup with a rolled rim at the top, a narrow waist, a rounded swell through the middle and a stepped foot that spreads at the base.
