Description

These are two stoneware Christmas mugs, each hand-painted with fine stripes that run from rim to base and carry on in bands around the handle. They share one pattern in a multicoloured colourway, and each mug swaps the stripe and the background of the other, so the pair reads as a matched couple rather than twins. Each holds 260ml, a proper everyday mug size for a full tea or coffee, and measures 9cm across and 9cm tall. The body swells gently towards the base and the rim is softly uneven, which gives the shape a relaxed, homely look, finished with a round loop handle.
