Our Serina mug is a round, generously sized stoneware mug in grey, painted with broad vertical stripes that run from the rim down to the foot. Each stripe shows its brushstrokes, so the edges and widths shift a little around the curve, which keeps the pattern relaxed rather than rigid. Fine horizontal ridges ring the body beneath the paint, giving the surface a gentle texture under the fingers. It holds 510ml, which makes it a large mug, and at 11cm across and 8.5cm tall it is wider than it is tall, sitting low on the table.
