Selvara 10 Light Vertical Alabaster Linear Chandelier - Matt Black

The Selvara is a 1300mm linear pendant carrying ten vertical alabaster batons suspended at staggered drops from a matt black rectangular canopy. Each baton is cut from a single piece of natural Spanish alabaster and lit from within by an integrated 36W LED at 3000K, so the stone itself acts as the diffuser. Total fitting height is 1700mm, with a slim 200mm width across the canopy.

The rectangular canopy distributes the ten batons along a single axis, producing a run of staggered light that follows the length of a table or corridor rather than gathering overhead. This makes the Selvara the stronger choice for rectangular dining tables, kitchen islands, and elongated spaces where a circular canopy would feel off-centre. The 1300mm canopy length suits dining tables of 1.6m or longer, hung 700-800mm above the table surface.

Each alabaster baton shows distinct mineral veining and tonal variation, so the ten elements never appear as repeated copies of one another. The matt black canopy, suspension rods and end caps carry a flat, non-reflective finish that frames the warm glow of the lit stone without the visual competition of a metallic surface. The stainless steel internal structure supports the weight of the alabaster without visible bracketry, keeping the sightline through the fitting clean.

The integrated LED runs at 230V mains with a warm 3000K output, matched to the natural cream-white tone of the alabaster. Because the light source sits inside each baton, the fitting produces a soft column of glow rather than directed downlight, making it suited to ambient and decorative use rather than task lighting.

What ceiling height does the Selvara need?

The fitting itself is 1700mm tall from canopy to the lowest baton. For use over a dining table the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface, which suits ceilings of around 3m or higher. For stairwell and atrium installations with greater vertical volume, the suspension rods can be specified to longer drops on order.

Are the alabaster bars identical to one another?

No. Each baton is cut from natural Spanish alabaster and shows different veining, mineral tones and translucency. Variation between the ten elements is a characteristic of the natural stone rather than a defect.

Is the LED replaceable?

The Selvara uses an integrated LED system rated at 36W and 3000K running on 230V mains. The LED is not designed for end-user replacement; for service or fault diagnosis please contact us with the SKU NHB-C065-V10-BB.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid water, household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, which can stain or etch the stone surface.
