Description

The Knightsbridge screwless 9-gang grid faceplate provides a mounting frame for nine euro module inserts in a black nickel finish. The plate accepts standard euro modules for TV, data, HDMI, USB, telephone and other low-voltage connections, allowing custom configurations for media walls, office installations and home automation panels.

Designed for residential living rooms, office meeting rooms and commercial reception areas where multiple AV or data connections converge behind a single wall plate, the faceplate measures 208mm high by 148mm wide and requires a compatible grid mounting box or back box. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, hiding all fixings from view once installed and giving a flat, uninterrupted surface on the wall.

The black nickel finish is applied over premium-grade steel, providing a dark metallic tone with a subtle sheen that sits between matt black and polished nickel. The built-in gasket around the edge improves the fit against the wall and reduces movement once the cover plate is clipped in place. The faceplate carries an IP20 rating, suitable for dry indoor environments, and is backed by Knightsbridge's 25-year guarantee.

The faceplate accepts standard 25mm x 50mm euro modules including TV coax outlets, RJ45 data sockets, HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, telephone, satellite F-type and blanking plates. Modules are sold separately and clip into the faceplate apertures without requiring tools.

What back box or mounting frame is required?

A compatible 9-gang grid mounting box or metal grid frame is required to support the euro modules. The screwless cover plate then clips onto this frame. Knightsbridge produces matching grid frames for flush mounting in standard 35mm back boxes or surface-mount enclosures.

Is the screwless cover removable for reconfiguration?

Yes. The black nickel cover plate clips onto the metal grid frame and can be removed without tools, allowing modules to be added, removed or repositioned. The cover can then be re-clipped without affecting the wall finish.
