This Knightsbridge SAT TV outlet provides a single F-type coaxial connection for satellite TV installations, housed behind a brushed chrome square-edge faceplate made from 430 stainless steel. The outlet is non-isolated, meaning it allows two-way signal transmission between the dish and receiver, which is required for certain satellite setups where the receiver sends control signals back to the LNB.

Designed for residential satellite TV installations where a single cable run from the dish terminates in a wall outlet, the fitting mounts into a standard 25mm minimum depth back box. The square-edge plate sits flush with the wall surface, adding 18.2mm projection once installed. The brushed chrome finish provides a contemporary metallic accent that pairs with both modern and classical interiors, and the directional grain of the brushed finish softens reflections compared to polished chrome.

The F-type connector accepts standard satellite coaxial cable with an F-type plug, using a clamp and screw terminal at the rear for secure connection to the incoming cable from the dish. What does non-isolated mean for a SAT outlet?

Non-isolated outlets allow two-way signal transmission between the satellite dish LNB and the receiver. This is needed when the receiver sends control signals back to the LNB to switch between different satellite positions or polarisations. If your installation only requires one-way signal reception, an isolated outlet will also work.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The outlet has a total depth of 27.1mm including the plate, with 18.2mm projecting from the wall once fitted.

Can this be used with Freesat or Sky?

Yes. The F-type connector is the standard fitting for UK satellite TV installations including Sky, Freesat and other satellite services. Connect the coaxial cable from your dish or distribution system to the rear terminal, and plug your receiver's coaxial cable into the front F-type socket.
