Description
The Sanja is a tub armchair, 77cm high, 76cm wide and 78cm deep, with a curved back that runs round without a break into low rolled arms. The cover is an off white ground carrying a fine charcoal stripe, broken rather than solid, running from the top of the back down to the seat. A single loose cushion fills the seat. Four turned legs stand under it in a pale wood, and the front pair run on brass castors.
The seat sits low at 38cm and measures 66cm across by 51cm deep, so this is an occasional chair to sit back in rather than one to work from. At 76cm wide it fits where a deeper armchair would not: a bedroom corner, the side of a fireplace, the end of a sofa run. The castors on the front legs let it turn and move on a hard floor without being lifted.
The legs are mango wood and the cover is cotton. The stripe runs vertically over the whole chair, over the curve of the back and down the roll of the arms, and meets the seat cushion in the same direction. A matching Sanja stripe ottoman is made to go with it, and the range also holds a bed, an upholstered bench and lampshades in the same stripe.

Frequently Asked
How big is the chair?
77cm high, 76cm wide and 78cm deep, with the seat at 38cm.
Does it have castors?
Yes, on the front two legs. The back legs stand plain.
What is the stripe?
A fine broken charcoal line on an off white ground, running vertically over the back, the arms and the seat.
Is there a matching piece?
Yes, a Sanja stripe ottoman, and the range also holds a bed, an upholstered bench and lampshades in the same stripe.
How should I look after it?
Deal with a spill at once by blotting it with a sponge, and vacuum the chair regularly. It can be cleaned professionally, and the colours may fade where it stands in direct sunlight.
