The Sangamo 72113NFC is a 7-day programmable time switch for DIN rail mounting, offering one 16A volt-free changeover contact controlled through 56 memory locations. The unit accepts standard daily and weekly scheduling patterns and is programmed using an Android NFC phone rather than physical buttons or a PC interface.

Designed for consumer unit, distribution board and industrial panel installation, the time switch fits a 2-module width on standard 35mm DIN rail. The volt-free changeover contact switches loads up to 16A at 230V AC, making it suitable for controlling heating circuits, lighting zones, pumps, ventilation fans and other time-dependent electrical loads. NFC programming via Android phone allows schedules to be set and adjusted without opening the enclosure or connecting external devices.

The unit measures 108mm height, 43mm width and 65mm depth when mounted on the rail, with a slim profile that minimises space consumption in tight consumer units. The 10-year battery reserve maintains programmed schedules and the real-time clock during mains power interruptions, so the unit resumes operation without re-programming after a power cut. How is the unit programmed?

The 72113NFC is programmed using an Android phone with NFC capability. Hold the phone against the NFC symbol on the front panel and use the Sangamo NFC app to set schedules, adjust the clock and configure switching modes. No physical buttons or external programming devices are needed.

What does volt-free changeover contact mean?

The output is a changeover relay contact with no live voltage on the terminals when the unit is powered. This allows the time switch to control circuits at different voltages or isolated systems, as the switched circuit is electrically separate from the time switch control circuit.

How many switching events can be programmed?

The unit offers 56 memory locations for on/off switching events across a 7-day week. Each memory location can be assigned to specific days or groups of days, allowing flexible daily, weekday/weekend or custom weekly schedules.

Does it retain settings during a power cut?

Yes. The 10-year battery reserve maintains the real-time clock and all programmed schedules during mains power interruptions. The unit resumes normal operation once mains power is restored without requiring re-programming.
