Description
The Samara is a 138cm round dining table with a travertine stone-effect MDF top and an oxide brown metal-MDF pedestal base. The circular top uses high-resistance melamine surfacing to protect against scratches, heat marks and liquid spills, while the travertine finish mimics the soft tonal variation and pitted texture of natural stone without the weight or maintenance requirements.
Designed to seat four around a standard 77cm dining height, the Samara suits open-plan kitchens, studio apartments and compact dining areas where a round table opens up circulation space better than a rectangular equivalent. The pedestal base removes corner legs, giving full legroom on all sides and allowing chairs to be pushed in flush when not in use. The 138cm diameter provides 43cm of table edge per person when seating four, which is enough for a full place setting plus serving dishes in the centre.
The oxide brown finish on the pedestal base reads as a warm rust-brown with subtle metallic undertones, pairing comfortably with warm neutrals, terracotta, ochre and natural timber finishes. The travertine-effect top introduces an earthy, textured surface that softens the metal base and brings organic visual interest to contemporary or transitional interiors. At 48kg, the table has enough mass to feel stable underfoot without requiring additional fixing, though the weight means two people are recommended for assembly and positioning.

Frequently Asked
What's the seating capacity?
The 138cm diameter comfortably seats four adults with approximately 43cm of table edge per person. This allows space for full place settings and shared serving dishes in the centre without crowding.
Is the travertine finish real stone?
No. The top is MDF with a travertine stone-effect melamine finish that mimics the texture and tonal variation of natural travertine without the weight, porousness or maintenance requirements of real stone.
How is the surface cleaned?
The high-resistance melamine surface can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive scourers and do not use bleach-based cleaners, which can dull the finish over time.
Does the table require assembly?
Yes. The top and pedestal base ship separately and require assembly on delivery. Two people are recommended due to the 48kg total weight. Full assembly instructions are included.
