Description

The Salino wall shelf gives you two long, cream boards held apart by four wavy posts, each shaped like a column of stacked beads, so the shelf reads as a small piece of furniture on the wall rather than a plain plank. It measures 80cm long, 20cm wide and 26cm tall. Two tiers instead of a single ledge give you one level for the things you want to see at eye height and a lower one for books or a vase. The boards are a sensible depth for paperbacks and small ornaments without jutting far into the room. It is made from 70% MDF and 30% fir.

Hang it above a desk, a dresser or a bedside table and it gives a run of display space without taking up any floor. The wavy posts look at home in a living room, a hallway or a bedroom, and the cream colour sits quietly against pale, painted or warm-toned walls. It suits anyone who likes to arrange a few favourite pieces: a sculptural vase, a candle holder, a small stack of books, a framed print leant at the back.
