Description

This is a round side table with a green lacquered finish and three shaped legs, each formed into a column of evenly spaced rounded beads from top to foot. It is made from MDF and firwood, and it stands 53cm tall with a top 41cm across. That height brings the top within easy reach of a sofa or armchair, and the 41cm surface gives you room for a table lamp, a short stack of books or a potted plant without crowding. At 2.84KG it is light enough to move easily from room to room.

It is made for the places beside your seating where you want somewhere to put things down: next to a sofa, at the end of an armchair in a reading corner, or in the corner of a living room where a larger piece would crowd the space. The open three-legged frame lets the floor show through beneath it, so it sits lightly in a small room. It also works on its own as a display stand for a vase of flowers or a pair of candle holders, and at 53cm tall it can stand beside a bed just as happily.

Three legs find their footing on an uneven floor, where four can rock, which is handy on old floorboards. The lacquered finish gives the table a smooth, even coat of colour across the top and down every bead of the legs. MDF is a dense, stable board with a smooth face, and fir is a light softwood.
