Description
A pillar candle 8cm high and 7cm across, poured from a soy wax blend in a deep olive green. The surface is mottled and slightly rough, the olive running lighter across some of the face and deeper across the rest, and the top is left uneven around a single wick.
At 8cm high and 7cm across this is the smallest of the rustic pillars, below the small and the large. It fits a compact holder that a full sized pillar will not, and it sits low enough on a side table or a windowsill to be looked down on rather than across at. Three at different heights make a group. Olive is one of six colours the mini is poured in.
The wax is a soy blend with paraffin, poured by hand into moulds in small batches, which is where the uneven surface comes from, and no two candles are marked the same way. The rustic range runs well past this one: pillars in two larger sizes and dinner candles, in olive, rust, charcoal, white, dark cherry and sage green. No holder is included.

Frequently Asked
How big is it?
8cm high and 7cm across.
What is the wax?
A soy blend with paraffin, hand poured into a mould in small batches.
Does it come with a holder?
No. The candle is sold on its own.
How long should it be burned for?
Burn it for roughly one hour per inch of diameter on the first burn, so that the melted wax reaches the edge and leaves a firm outer shell, and for no more than four hours at a time after that.
How should it be burned safely?
Trim the wick to 0.6cm, which keeps the burn even and cuts down soot. Burn it within sight and never leave it unattended, do not move it while it is lit or before the wax has hardened, keep matches, soot and anything that will catch well away from it, and stand it on a heat resistant, non porous surface, because it may drip.
