Description

Ruby is a generous Christmas bow in cream woven cotton, made to finish a wreath or a garland without any tying. It measures 53cm long and 25cm wide, so the two full loops sit broad at the top while the long tails fall well below the knot. That length gives it real presence on a front door wreath, where a smaller bow tends to disappear into the greenery. The composition is 95% cotton and 5% metal. The bow comes ready shaped, with its tails cut at an angle and a clip fixed across the back of the knot.

The clip is what makes it so easy to use. Fix it to the top of a wreath on the front door, to a garland along a mantelpiece or a staircase banister, or to a sturdy branch near the top of the Christmas tree. It also suits a large wrapped present, the back of a chair at a festive table, or a simple wreath of dried stems that wants a soft finishing touch. Cream sits quietly beside deep greens, natural wood and frosted foliage, so it works in a traditional scheme as happily as in a paler, pared-back one. The styling props shown are not included.
