Description
This is a round stoneware plant pot, 18cm across and 13cm tall, with a band of raised half-moon fins standing out around its upper body. Each fin is set edgeways to the pot's side, so from the front you see slim ridges and at the sides you see the full curve, which gives the pot a sculptural outline from every angle. A grey glaze runs over the body in streaks and pools, deeper on the fins and thinner where it breaks over the edges, and it stops short of a bare foot at the base. It is a pot with presence, though small enough for a crowded shelf.
At this size it suits a single small or medium houseplant, the kind that lives on a side table, a bookshelf or a deep windowsill. It sits comfortably beside a reading chair in a living room, on a bedroom chest of drawers or on a desk where a little greenery helps. Trailing and upright plants both work: upright stems show off the fins, while trailing ones soften them. Because the fins reach out from the sides, give it a little room on a shelf so they are not hidden against a wall or another pot. Away from plants, it makes a weighty holder for brushes, pens or dried stems.
It is made entirely of stoneware and weighs 1.134KG, so it has a reassuring heft and sits steadily on a shelf or table. Stoneware is fired at a high temperature, which makes it dense and hard-wearing, and here the glaze gives the outside a smooth, glossy surface that catches the light across every fin. For styling, pair the grey glaze with pale wood and woven rattan, whose textures sit well beside it, or group it with plainer pots and let the fins carry the shelf.

What is the pot made of?
It is made of 100% stoneware with a grey glaze over the body, and it weighs 1.134KG, so it has a solid, weighty feel in the hand.
How big is it?
It measures 18cm across and 13cm tall, a size that suits a single small or medium houseplant on a side table, shelf or windowsill.

No. You receive the stoneware pot alone; the styling props shown are not included, and the plant is one of those props.
