Description

This is a pair of brown glass tealight holders in two different designs that sit well together. The taller one is ribbed from base to rim, its vertical flutes ending in a softly scalloped top edge, and it measures 6.5cm across and 7.5cm tall. The second is wider and a little shorter, narrowing slightly towards the top and covered all over in rows of raised dots; it is 7.5cm across and 7cm tall. Both are 100% glass, so a tealight's flame shows through the tinted walls instead of hiding behind them, and textured glass breaks that light into small, bright highlights.

Because the two designs differ, they read as a deliberate pair rather than identical twins: one at each end of a mantelpiece, side by side on a windowsill, or down the middle of a dining table among the candle holders and vases you already own. Their small size suits a bedside table, a bathroom shelf or a bookcase, anywhere one low flame makes a room feel cosy on a dark evening.
