Description

This rose quartz tree is a light-up decoration that brings a little colour and light to a shelf or side table. Pale pink rose quartz chips hang in loose clusters from twisted gold branches. The branches spread from a single slender trunk like a small weeping tree. The trunk rises from a cluster of clear, pointed facets set into a round brown base. When it is lit, that cluster glows from within. It stands 25.5cm tall and measures 15cm wide and 15cm deep, so it sits comfortably on a narrow ledge or a bedside table without crowding it.

We like it on a bookshelf, a dressing table, a mantelpiece or a desk, anywhere a touch of pink and a little light would be welcome once the evening draws in. It suits a calm bedroom or a cosy corner of the living room. The pink and gold sit happily beside soft neutrals, blush tones and brass. Keep it in dry rooms indoors, where it can be enjoyed as a small ornament by day and a glowing one after dark. It makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves rose quartz, pretty things for the home or a little sparkle on a shelf.

Each chip sits along the twisted gold branches, which gives the canopy a natural, uneven look, with no two clusters quite alike. Rose quartz chips vary a little in shade and shape, and that is part of the charm. To keep it looking its best, dust it now and then with a soft dry brush, working gently around the branches, and keep it away from water. Give it a spot where it will not be knocked and the branches have room to spread. Then let it glow as the light fades, beside a book or a cup of tea.

What colours is it?

The rose quartz chips are pale pink and the base is brown, with twisted gold branches and a clear cluster at the foot of the trunk.
