Description

This Knightsbridge rocker cover is laser-printed with the word 'OVEN' in grey lettering on a white thermoset resin surface, designed specifically for use with the Curved Edge Grid modular switch system. The rocker measures 30.6mm high by 15.9mm wide with a 10mm projection and clips directly onto any Knightsbridge grid module in place of the standard blank rocker.

Designed for kitchens where grid systems control dedicated circuits for ovens, cookers, or other fixed kitchen appliances, the printed designation eliminates confusion about which switch controls which appliance. The rocker is removable and interchangeable without rewiring, so room layouts or appliance changes can be accommodated by swapping in a different designation from the Knightsbridge printed rocker range. The white finish coordinates with the standard white Curved Edge grid modules and plates.

The thermoset resin construction provides rigidity and resistance to heat, moisture and everyday contact in kitchen environments. The rocker carries anti-microbial properties tested to ISO 22196:2011, reducing bacterial growth on the surface between cleaning cycles. The IP20 rating means the cover is suitable for dry indoor use only and should not be fitted in bathrooms or outdoor locations without appropriate IP-rated enclosures.

Is this compatible with standard UK switches?

No. This rocker cover fits only Knightsbridge Curved Edge Grid modular switch systems. It will not fit standard single-gang or 2-gang switches, nor will it fit flat-plate grid systems or other manufacturers' grid products.

Can the rocker be changed without rewiring?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the grid module and can be removed and replaced with a different designation (or a blank rocker) without disconnecting any wiring. This allows room layouts to change or appliances to be reassigned to different switches.

What other printed designations are available?
