Description

This Knightsbridge rocker cover is laser-printed with the designation 'MICROWAVE' and designed specifically for use with the Curved Edge grid modular switch system. The rocker clips onto a grid switch module to identify the circuit or appliance controlled by that switch position, making it easy to label kitchen circuits in residential, commercial and hospitality installations.

Designed for modular grid plates where multiple circuits are controlled from a single faceplate, the rocker cover allows individual switches to be labelled without needing separate engraved plates or adhesive labels. The rocker removes and replaces by hand without tools, so designations can be changed when kitchen layouts are reconfigured or appliances moved. Common applications include commercial kitchens, hotel back-of-house areas, staff rooms and domestic kitchens with multiple high-draw appliances on dedicated circuits.

The rocker is moulded in white thermoset resin with laser-etched text that will not fade or rub off over time. The resin is antimicrobial-treated and third-party tested to ISO 22196:2011, making it suitable for environments where hygiene standards require touch surfaces to resist bacterial growth. The white finish coordinates with the Curved Edge grid range and maintains a consistent appearance across multi-gang plates. At 30.6mm x 15.9mm x 10mm projection, the rocker matches the standard module size used throughout Knightsbridge's curved grid system.

What grid system is this compatible with?

This rocker cover is designed exclusively for the Knightsbridge Curved Edge grid modular switch range. It will not fit standard flat-edge grid plates or other manufacturers' modular systems.

Can the rocker be changed after installation?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the grid switch module and can be removed and replaced by hand without tools or rewiring. This allows designations to be updated when appliances or circuits are reconfigured.

What does the antimicrobial treatment do?

The thermoset resin is treated with an antimicrobial additive that inhibits bacterial growth on the surface of the rocker.
