The Ring is an 8-ring LED spiral pendant light built from matt black aluminium and metal frames that interlock in a descending helix. The fitting is suspended on fine steel cables from a 300mm diameter matt black ceiling rose and includes a remote-control dimming system with a receiver unit concealed within the canopy.

Designed for double-height living spaces, central atriums, stairwells and commercial reception areas with ceiling heights between 3.5m and 6m, the Ring provides both ambient and architectural lighting. The cable drop is adjustable between 100cm and 300cm on installation, allowing the spiral to be positioned 2-3m above the floor or scaled to suit the specific ceiling height. The 80cm maximum width of the outermost ring and the 200cm vertical span of the full spiral give the fitting substantial presence without dominating the floor area below.

The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, keeping the visual focus on the illuminated rings rather than the frame. Each ring carries LEDs along its inner edge, with the clear acrylic diffuser softening the light output while maintaining the graphic definition of each loop. What ceiling height is needed for this fitting?

The Ring is designed for double-height spaces with ceiling heights between 3.5m and 6m. The cable drop adjusts between 100cm and 300cm, so a 3.5m ceiling could have the spiral hanging with its base approximately 1.5-2m above the floor, while a 6m ceiling could position it 3m above the floor with full cable extension.

How does the dimming work?

The fitting includes a remote-control dimmer with a receiver unit concealed in the ceiling canopy. The remote allows stepless dimming from full 4000K output down to a low glow without needing to wire in a wall dimmer switch. The receiver operates on mains power and does not require batteries.

Is the 4000K colour temperature warm or cool?

4000K is a neutral white, sitting between warm white (2700-3000K) and cool white (5000K+). It reads as a clean, daylight-like tone that works in modern commercial and residential interiors without adding warmth or coolness to the space.

Can this be installed in a standard residential ceiling?
