Description

The Rarni double runs two shades along a horizontal brass bar: a round plate at the centre of the bar, a pivot block at each end with a knurled thumbscrew on either side, and a deep tulip of clear ribbed glass hanging from each. The ribs run the full height of the glass. Rust coloured fabric flex loops over both pivots. It is 18.3cm tall, 37.9cm across and stands 21.4cm out from the wall.

Two shades on one bar cover a stretch rather than a spot, which is what suits it to a kitchen or a dining area, and both pivots tip independently so the two pools can be aimed separately. It plugs into a socket. It takes two E14 bulbs up to 40W, it works on a dimmer, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. No bulbs are included.

The fitting is brass under an antique brass finish and the shades are ribbed glass. The glass shades are removable. The Rarni range also holds a single on a round plate.

Frequently Asked

Do the shades come off?

Yes. The glass shades are removable, which is the easiest way to clean them.

How many bulbs does it take?

Two, one in each shade. They are E14, up to 40W each, and no bulbs are included.

Do both shades angle?

Yes, and independently. Each sits on its own pivot with a thumbscrew on either side.

Does it need wiring in?

No. It plugs into a socket.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the glass and the fittings with a soft dry microfibre cloth. The shades come off if that is easier.
