Description

The QTX 9x6W LED par can houses nine 6W RGBW LEDs inside an 80mm-deep black metal housing, delivering colour mixing and white light output in a form factor that mounts flush to truss or sits discreetly on stage floors. The 45° beam angle provides even wash coverage across walls and backdrops without requiring a large throw distance.

Designed for mobile DJs, small-to-medium live events, theatre side lighting and installation where ceiling void or truss space is limited, the fixture operates in sound-to-light, auto-run, static colour and DMX modes. The 8-channel DMX mode allows independent control of red, green, blue and white intensities from a lighting desk, while the included IR remote handles basic colour selection and mode switching for standalone use. The low 955g weight and 205mm square footprint make it easy to transport in quantity and mount on standard par can brackets.

The RGBW configuration adds a dedicated white LED die alongside the red, green and blue, providing cleaner pastel tones and usable white output without relying on mixing all three primaries at full intensity. The IEC mains input and 100-240Vac switching PSU handle worldwide voltage without adjustment. Multiple units can be daisy-chained via 3-pin DMX in/out connectors to build a coordinated system controlled from a single desk.

Frequently Asked

What's the difference between RGB and RGBW?

RGBW adds a dedicated white LED die alongside the red, green and blue. This produces cleaner pastel colours and usable white light without needing to run all three primaries at full intensity, which often produces a blue-tinted white on RGB-only fixtures.

Can the fixture be controlled without a DMX desk?

Yes. The included IR remote handles basic colour selection, dimming and mode switching for standalone operation. The fixture also has sound-to-light and auto-run modes that trigger from music or cycle through pre-programmed sequences without external control.

How many units can be daisy-chained?

Multiple units connect via 3-pin DMX in/out. The practical limit depends on cable length and termination, but typical installations run 20-30 units on a single DMX line without signal issues if the last fixture is terminated with a 120-ohm resistor.

What mounting options does it support?

The fixture fits standard par can yoke brackets and can be floor-mounted, truss-clamped or hung. The low 80mm profile allows it to sit close to walls and backdrops when used as uplighting or cyclorama wash.
