QTX 24x3W LED Wall Wash Bar - RGB & Amber Beam

The QTX 24x3W is a 1-metre LED bar combining 12 RGB wash LEDs and 12 amber beam LEDs in an alternating configuration, delivering a combined 80W output across 24 individual 3W emitters. The RGB LEDs provide wide 35° wash coverage for colour-saturated wall and ceiling lighting, while the amber CREE LEDs fire tight 3° beams for accent and depth. The bar supports five DMX channel modes (4, 6, 11, 48, 54 channels), three sound-to-light modes, and automatic colour sequences, with microphone sensitivity and strobe speed adjustable from the rear panel.

Designed for stage wash, architectural accent lighting, event venue colour control, and DJ booth backgrounds, the bar mounts horizontally or vertically using the included tilt-adjustable brackets. The brackets allow floor standing or wall/ceiling fixing, with the tilt mechanism letting the operator angle the wash and beam independently of the mounting surface. Power in/out connections use twist-and-lock sockets, and DMX in/out via 3-pin XLR allows daisy-chaining multiple bars for extended coverage across a room or stage wall.

The matt black powder-coated housing measures 1000mm long, 65mm high and 55mm deep, weighing 2.4kg with brackets attached. The RGB 3-in-1 LEDs mix red, green and blue at the emitter level to produce up to 16.7 million colours when controlled via DMX, while the standalone auto and sound modes cycle through preset sequences at adjustable speeds. The bar runs on 110-240Vac 50/60Hz, making it compatible with UK mains and international touring rigs without a step-down transformer.

What DMX channel modes are available?

The bar supports 4, 6, 11, 48 or 54 channel DMX modes, selectable from the rear panel menu. 4-channel mode controls master dimmer and RGB colour mixing. 48 and 54-channel modes give independent pixel control of each LED for complex chases and sequences.

Can multiple bars be linked together?

Yes. Power in/out via twist-and-lock sockets and DMX in/out via 3-pin XLR allow daisy-chaining. In master/slave mode one bar controls the others without a DMX controller. In DMX mode, assign sequential addresses to each bar for independent or synchronised operation.

What mounting options are included?

The bar comes with two tilt-adjustable brackets that can be floor-mounted (standing the bar horizontally or at an angle) or fixed to walls and ceilings using the screw holes in the bracket base. The tilt joint allows angling after installation.

What's the difference between the RGB wash and amber beam LEDs?

The 12 RGB LEDs produce a 35° wash angle for broad colour coverage across walls and ceilings. The 12 amber CREE LEDs fire a 3° beam for tight accent spots and depth. The alternating configuration allows the bar to combine wide colour wash with punchy amber highlights in the same fixture.
