Description
The QTX rechargeable mini LED par can packs twelve 1.5W RGB LEDs into a compact 115mm white plastic housing, delivering 18W total output from an internal lithium rechargeable battery. The battery runs for up to six hours on a full charge, making this par can suitable for mobile DJs, small venue events, home parties and any situation where mains access is impractical or unavailable.
Designed for portable event lighting where ease of setup matters, the unit operates in automatic colour-change mode or sound-to-light mode, responding to music and ambient noise without needing DMX control. A wireless remote control adjusts mode selection, colour, speed and brightness from across the room, so the operator does not need to access the rear panel once the fixture is positioned. The 260g weight and fold-out floor stand allow the par can to be placed on a stage floor, shelf or table without additional rigging.
The twelve individual RGB LEDs mix red, green and blue to produce solid colours, pastels and colour-fade effects across the full spectrum. The white plastic housing keeps the weight low and the unit cool enough to handle during operation. The rechargeable battery eliminates the cable runs and power distribution that constrain traditional par cans, so multiple units can be scattered around a venue without needing to map out socket locations beforehand.
This QTX model is part of AVSL's battery-powered event lighting range, designed to complement their wider catalogue of wired DMX par cans and stage effects. The fold-out stand and compact dimensions make it straightforward to transport multiple units in a small vehicle or equipment case.

Frequently Asked
How long does the battery take to charge?
Typical charge time is 4-5 hours from empty to full. The unit can be operated while charging if mains access becomes available during an event, though this reduces battery lifespan over time if done regularly.
Can multiple units be synchronised?
When set to the same mode and speed via the remote control, multiple QTX par cans will run similar colour sequences, but they are not DMX-linked so true frame-accurate synchronisation is not possible. For loose colour coordination across 2-4 units this works acceptably.
What brightness level does 18W produce?
The twelve 1.5W RGB LEDs produce enough output to colour-wash a small room up to approximately 4m x 4m, or act as accent lighting in larger venues. This is not a key light or stage wash fixture. It suits ambient colour effects and mobile event work where portability outweighs raw output.
Does it support DMX control?
No. This model operates in standalone mode only, controlled via the onboard buttons or the supplied wireless remote. AVSL's wired par can range includes DMX-capable models for installations needing centralised control.
