Description
The QTX RGBW LED spotlight delivers a tight 5° beam through a 10W quad-colour LED (red, green, blue, white) housed in a compact 165mm black polycarbonate body. The included wireless remote controls static colour selection and dynamic effects including gradual fade, colour jump and breathe modes. The spotlight mounts on a bracket with 180° tilt adjustment and a wall/ceiling fixing hole, allowing it to be positioned for mirror ball spots, stage accent work, or architectural feature lighting.
Designed for live events, small theatre rigs, club installations and DJ setups, the 5° beam throws crisp, focused light up to 6m effective distance without significant spill. The low 10W power draw keeps heat minimal during continuous operation. The housing can run for hours in auto-fade mode without requiring ventilation or active cooling. The 100-240Vac power input adapts to worldwide voltage without a transformer, making it portable for international events.
The remote operates on a CR2025 battery (supplied) and controls up to three separate units from a single handset. The remote allows instant switching between seven solid colours (RGBW primaries plus cyan, magenta, yellow) and three auto modes: gradual fade cycles through the spectrum slowly, jump mode changes colour on timed intervals, and breathe mode pulses the intensity up and down while holding colour. The 0.8m lead terminates in a standard UK plug.
At 380g the spotlight can be mounted on lightweight truss or rigged from a single fixpoint without additional support. The tight beam makes it particularly effective for mirror ball spots where a narrow, intense source is needed to activate the facets cleanly, or for pinspot work highlighting centrepieces, architectural detail or stage props from a distance.

Frequently Asked
What's the beam angle and effective throw distance?
The spotlight has a 5° beam angle, producing a tight, focused spot rather than a wide wash. Effective throw distance is up to 6m, making it suitable for small to medium venues, club installations and mobile DJ rigs.
Can one remote control multiple units?
Yes. The remote can control up to three QTX spotlights simultaneously. All units within range will respond to the same colour and mode commands from a single handset.
What colour modes are available?
The spotlight offers seven static colours (red, green, blue, white, cyan, magenta, yellow) plus three auto modes: gradual fade (slow spectrum cycle), jump (timed colour changes), and breathe (pulsing intensity while holding colour).
Is it suitable for mirror ball spots?
Yes. The narrow 5° beam and compact housing make it ideal for mirror ball spots where a tight, intense source is needed to activate the facets without flooding the surrounding area with spill light.
