Description

This is a single artificial protea stem in beige, made to look like the large open flowerhead of a real protea. The head is 20cm across, built from layer upon layer of pointed petals that curl outward around a domed centre, and the whole stem stands 76cm tall, with a few broad leaves gathered beneath the bloom. At that height it reads as a proper cut flower rather than a sprig, and one stem has enough presence to fill a vase alone. It is made from 80% polyester, 10% iron and 10% polyethylene.

As a faux stem, it needs no watering and will not wilt, so it can live in the places where fresh flowers struggle or simply never get replaced. Stand it in a tall vase on a sideboard, a hall console or the end of a dining table, or give it a spot on a bedroom chest of drawers or a living room shelf.
