Description

The PowerMaster 5ft 50W LED emergency batten is a weatherproof linear fitting with integrated emergency lighting functionality, delivering 5800 lumens at 6500K daylight colour temperature through non-corrosive frame construction. The batten houses a built-in battery backup system that activates automatically during mains power failure, providing emergency illumination for safe egress and continued work in commercial and industrial environments.

Designed for warehouses, workshops, car parks, loading bays and outdoor covered areas requiring both primary and emergency lighting, the IP65-rated enclosure protects the LED module and emergency circuitry against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. The 120° beam angle provides broad lateral coverage suitable for mounting heights of 3-5m above floor level. Stainless steel mounting clips allow the batten to be fixed directly to ceilings or suspended from chain/wire where surface mounting is not possible.

The integrated LED delivers 130 lumens per watt efficiency, reducing running costs compared to fluorescent tube battens while the flicker-free driver eliminates strobing effects under camera and in peripheral vision. The 6500K daylight output provides high colour contrast for quality control, detailed assembly work and areas where natural daylight equivalence is required.
