Description
The PowerMaster 20 LED globe string lights feature twenty 50mm multi-coloured globes in red, yellow, green and blue, spaced 0.5m apart on a 9.5m cable run with a 5m lead wire to the plug. Each globe houses a static 6W LED in shatterproof polycarbonate casing and carries an individual hook for hanging, allowing the string to be draped across pergolas, fences, tree branches or fixed under eaves.
Designed for outdoor installation in gardens, patios and covered outdoor dining areas, the string lights carry an IP44 rating, protecting the electrical components against splashing water from any direction. The string is linkable, allowing up to four sets (80 globes total) to be connected end-to-end on a single mains connection, reducing the need for multiple outdoor sockets. The 5m lead wire from the first globe to the plug gives flexibility in positioning the cable run relative to the power source.
The shatterproof globe casings are built to withstand knocks during installation and outdoor exposure without the fragility of traditional glass. Each globe measures 50mm diameter and provides 360-degree light output. The multi-coloured sequence repeats across the string, creating a festive or casual outdoor lighting scheme depending on the installation context. The string operates on 220-240V mains with no transformer required.

Frequently Asked
Can these be left outside in all weather?
The IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction, making the lights suitable for outdoor use under eaves, on covered patios or in garden areas exposed to rain. They are not designed for full submersion (Zone 0) but can be used in Zones 1, 2 and 3. It is recommended to store the lights indoors during winter when not in use to maximise lifespan.
How many sets can be linked together?
Up to four sets (80 globes total) can be connected end-to-end on a single mains connection. Each set draws 6W total load, so four sets require 24W. Check the maximum load capacity of the outdoor socket before linking multiple sets.
What is the spacing between bulbs?
The 20 bulbs are spaced 0.5m apart across a 9.5m cable run. The 5m lead wire from the plug to the first bulb gives 14.5m total length, allowing the string to be positioned away from the power source.
Are the LEDs replaceable?
The LEDs are integrated into the globe housings and are not user-replaceable. The shatterproof polycarbonate casing protects the LEDs from impact damage during installation and outdoor use.
