Phlox GU10 Pendant Light - White

The Phlox is a ceiling pendant that hangs from an adjustable cable, giving a focused downward pool of light from a single GU10 lamp. In US terms this is a compact hanging light, and its narrow Ø54 mm body keeps the look slim above a worktop or table. Power is rated at max 10W, with the PAR16 GU10 lamp determining the beam and colour temperature you fit. The drop measures up to 300 mm overall, so the head sits close under the ceiling or lower over a table as needed.

Because the beam is directional rather than ambient, the Phlox suits spots where you want light placed on a surface: above a dining table, over a kitchen island or breakfast bar, or as a reading accent in a living room. It also works well in a hallway or stairwell run where several drops mark a route. The throw is a tight pool directly below each pendant, so position one over each seat or zone rather than relying on it to wash a whole room. Hang multiples at staggered heights for a cluster over a longer island.

The body is iron in a white finish, weighing 464 g, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms and any damp location. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains and is ceiling mounted via the supplied cable, which can be shortened to set the drop height. How high should I hang it over a table?

The cable adjusts up to a 300 mm overall drop, letting you set the head closer to the ceiling or lower over a surface. Over a dining table or island, aim for the base to sit roughly 70 to 90 cm above the worktop so the light pool lands where you need it without blocking sightlines.

Is a bulb included and can it be dimmed?

The Phlox takes a GU10 (PAR16) lamp, rated at max 10W, which you supply to suit the room. Dimming depends on the lamp you fit, so choose a dimmable GU10 and a compatible dimmer if you want adjustable brightness.

Can I install several as a cluster?

Yes. The base name is shared across the Phlox range, so single drops can be combined into a cluster over a longer island or table. Stagger the cable lengths for a tiered look and keep one head over each zone or seat.

Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. The Phlox is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it should not be fitted outdoors, in a bathroom, or in any damp or sheltered-outdoor location. Keep it to interior rooms such as kitchens, dining areas, hallways and living rooms.
