Description

This is a set of three felted wool Christmas decorations, each a little mouse in a chef's hat with its own outfit and kitchen prop. One wears a dress with three buttons and a frilled check hem and carries a tiny pan; one wears a check apron with a spotted pocket and carries a small tray; the third wears dungarees with check cuffs and holds a gingerbread figure. The bodies are 100% wool with a 100% polyester filling, and each mouse measures 10cm long, 5cm wide and 13cm tall, a good size for a tree branch.

Each mouse has a string hanging loop at the top of its hat, so the natural home is the Christmas tree, where three related characters spaced around the branches give it a gentle theme. They work just as well away from the tree: tied to a door handle, hung along a mantelpiece garland or clustered in a vase of bare twigs on a kitchen windowsill, where their chef's outfits feel at home.
