Description

Peo is a pair of felted wool mice made to hang on the Christmas tree, sold as a set of 2 in red. Each mouse is shaped from 100% wool, felted to a soft, slightly fuzzy surface, and filled with 100% polyester for a plump little body. One wears a red knitted jumper with buttons down the front and carries a candy cane; the other has a striped knitted jumper and red trousers and holds a tiny bottle-brush tree. Both wear Santa hats topped with a pompom and have round ears, long tails and a small smiling face. The decorations measure 6cm long, 9cm wide and 13cm tall.

Each mouse has a hanging loop rising from the top of its hat, so it goes straight onto a branch. At 13cm tall they are easy to spot among baubles and lights without crowding them. Hang the two together on one branch, split them across the tree, or loop them over a wreath, a garland along the mantelpiece or a few bare twigs in a vase on the hall table. As a pair they make a thoughtful small gift for anyone who loves a traditional, characterful Christmas tree, or a cheerful addition to your own.

The finish is felted: the wool is worked until its fibres mat together, and wool felt has a dense, softly fuzzy texture that holds its shape well.
