Description

This is a small, round-bellied espresso cup in stoneware, finished in a reactive glaze that breaks into lighter and deeper patches of orange with a fine speckle across the surface. It holds 140ml and is 7cm across and 6cm tall, so it sits comfortably in cupped hands, and the loop handle takes a single finger. Stoneware is dense and holds heat well, which counts for more in a small cup, where a short coffee loses its warmth quickly.

At 140ml it takes a single or double espresso with room to spare, and it is just as happy with a macchiato, a cortado or a small cup of strong tea. Keep one by the coffee machine for the first cup of the day, or bring several out after dinner when guests want something short and strong.
