Our Paula egg cup is a small, sturdy piece of 100% stoneware, made to hold one egg upright at the breakfast table. It stands 6.5cm tall and measures 5cm across, a size that takes a hen's egg with the top sitting clear of the rim, ready for the spoon. The cup rises from a short, flared foot, and the white glaze carries fine speckles that give it an earthy, relaxed look. At 0.122KG it is light in the hand, and stoneware, being dense once fired, stands up well to everyday use.

It belongs on the breakfast table, whether that is a quick soft-boiled egg before work or a slow weekend brunch with toast soldiers and a pot of tea.
