Description

This stoneware bowl is finished in a blue reactive glaze and measures 16cm across and 5cm tall, holding 525ml. That is an everyday bowl size, wide and fairly low, right for a helping of cereal or porridge, a portion of soup, a side salad or a pudding. The walls curve from a narrow foot up to a softly rounded rim, and a shallow ring sits in the centre of the inside. A reactive glaze moves as it fires, so the speckled, mottled surface differs from bowl to bowl and no two are quite alike. It is made entirely of stoneware and weighs 0.474KG.
