Description

This set of two nesting tray tables features circular mirrored glass tops printed with a palm tree motif, set into antique gold painted iron frames. The larger table measures 48cm diameter by 69cm height, the smaller 39cm diameter by 57cm height. Each tray top sits in a shallow rim with cut-out handles on opposite sides, allowing the trays to be lifted and carried separately from the base frames.

The nesting design allows the smaller table to tuck under the larger when not in use, reducing the footprint to a single 48cm circle. When separated, the tables function as side tables flanking a sofa, occasional tables beside armchairs, or serving surfaces for drinks and snacks in living rooms and conservatories. The mirrored glass reflects light and the palm motif appears as a reverse-printed pattern viewed through the mirror backing, creating depth under objects placed on the surface.

The iron frames are finished in a textured antique gold paint that shows deliberate tonal variation and slight metallic grain, giving an aged metallic appearance rather than a uniform bright gold. The three-legged base on each table uses curved iron straps that join at the centre and flare outward to form a stable tripod footprint. Combined weight for both tables is 5.5kg, providing enough mass to resist tipping when the tray is loaded but light enough to move between rooms.

Yes. Each mirrored glass tray sits in a shallow iron rim with cut-out handles on opposite sides. The trays can be lifted out and used separately for serving, then returned to the frames.

How much weight can each table support?

The tables are designed for typical side-table use such as lamps, books, drinks and decorative objects. Avoid placing heavy concentrated loads (over 5kg) on a single point of the mirrored glass.

How is the mirrored glass cleaned?

Use a standard glass cleaner or a microfibre cloth with distilled water. Spray onto the cloth rather than directly onto the glass to avoid liquid running into the join between the mirror and the iron rim.

What is the footprint when nested?

When the smaller table is tucked under the larger, the combined footprint is a single 48cm diameter circle. When separated, each table occupies its own circle of 48cm (large) or 39cm (small).
