Olivia 5 Light Crystal Chandelier - Polished Chrome with Cream Shade

The Olivia is a 50cm crystal chandelier with five E14 bulb fittings arranged on a polished chrome scrollwork frame, dressed with Asfour cut crystal droplets and strands, and finished with an ivory cream gauze shade. The chrome arms curve outward from a central column, each supporting a bulb holder beneath the shade, while crystal teardrops and faceted beads hang from the frame to catch and reflect light across the room.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Olivia provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The adjustable drop from 690mm to 1530mm allows the chandelier to be set 700-800mm above a dining table or lower in rooms with higher ceilings. The cream shade diffuses the light from the five bulbs into a soft, even glow, while the crystal strands add sparkle and movement when the fixture is lit. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs.

The polished chrome finish on the frame provides a bright, reflective surface that pairs well with both traditional and contemporary interiors, while the ivory cream shade adds warmth and softens the overall effect. Asfour crystal is optical-grade lead-free crystal, cut to create multiple facets that refract light into prismatic colours when directly lit. At 2.3kg, the chandelier requires a ceiling rose or mounting point rated for at least 5kg to allow a margin of safety during installation.

What bulbs does the Olivia take?

The chandelier takes five E14 small Edison screw bulbs, up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for dining and living room use.

Is the Olivia dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs. The fixture itself is compatible with standard dimmer switches, but the bulbs must also be rated as dimmable for the dimming function to work correctly.

What ceiling height is needed?

The drop is adjustable from 690mm to 1530mm during installation. For a dining table the chandelier typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Higher ceilings allow the full 1530mm drop to be used.

How is the cream shade cleaned?

The gauze shade can be dusted gently with a soft, dry brush or microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, the shade can be removed from the frame and spot-cleaned with a barely-damp cloth and mild detergent, then left to air-dry fully before refitting. The crystal droplets can be wiped individually with a lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water.
