This storage box is made entirely of soapstone, base and lid alike, and measures 15cm long, 10cm wide and 7.5cm tall, with a capacity of 650ml. The grey stone is veined throughout. The top of the lid is textured with a grid of raised, rough-faced squares that gives the piece a quietly rugged character. At 1.81KG it is heavy for its size, so it sits firmly wherever you put it and stays steady when you lift the lid. Soapstone is a natural stone, and its veining differs from one block to the next.
