Description

This is a low, open storage box in mango wood with a lacquered finish, 28.5cm long, 20cm wide and 12cm tall. Its character comes from the top edge, which rises and dips in a soft wave, and the two looped handles, one at each end, each with a round hole you can hook a finger through. Mango wood has a pronounced grain, and the pattern changes from one piece of timber to the next, so the swirls and lines on your box are its own. It is brown inside and out and weighs 0.86KG, an easy weight to carry from shelf to table.

Its home is the kitchen. The maker states it is food safe, so it can hold bread rolls, lemons or a few bulbs of garlic on the worktop, or keep bottles of oil and vinegar together beside the hob.
