The Niobe is a 53cm three-arm crystal chandelier in polished chrome, built around a central column formed by a cone-shaped metal body and a spherical crystal cage. Three curved arms extend outward, each fitted with a polished chrome candle holder for an E14 bulb (sold separately) and a shallow crystal pan beneath the bulb that catches and reflects light. Crystal strands run along the inside curve of each arm, adding prismatic sparkle when the chandelier is lit.

Designed for smaller dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and entrance lobbies with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Niobe offers a decorative centrepiece at a scale that works in typical UK residential rooms. The 1500mm maximum drop is adjustable on installation by shortening the chain, allowing the fitting to be set 450mm or higher from the ceiling depending on the room's proportions. The polished chrome finish reflects both daylight and lamp light, increasing the perceived brightness of the fitting.

Each crystal element is Asfour crystal from Egypt, cut with facets that split and scatter light when the chandelier is on. The combined weight of the metal frame and crystal components gives the fitting a 2.5kg total mass, requiring a standard UK ceiling rose and joist capable of supporting that load. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing output to be adjusted for mood or task lighting.
