Description

Our Nini cup is a small, hand-painted stoneware cup with a 100ml capacity, finished in green and dotted all over with little five-petalled flowers. Its body is softly rounded rather than strictly straight, and a chunky round loop handle in a contrasting shade makes it easy to lift. It measures 6.5cm across and 5.5cm tall and weighs 0.15KG, so it sits comfortably in the palm of one hand. A 100ml cup is an espresso size rather than a mug: right for a single espresso, a cortado or a short, strong tea. Stoneware is a dense, hard-wearing ceramic that holds heat well.

It belongs beside the coffee machine or on the breakfast table, ready for the first espresso of the day, and it works just as well at a desk for a mid-morning coffee.
