Description

This is a round hanging Christmas decoration, 9cm across, covered all over in a dense crust of tiny beads and glinting flakes that catch the light from every side. In champagne, it sits between a warm neutral and a soft shimmer, so it reads as festive without shouting. It is made of polystyrene and polyester and weighs 0.05KG, which matters more than it sounds: polystyrene is a very light material, so the decoration hangs from a slim branch tip without dragging it down.

At 9cm across it is a good middle size for a tree bauble: large enough to hold its own on a full-height tree, yet not so large that it crowds a smaller tabletop tree. It hangs from a fine loop, so it goes straight onto a branch, and it works just as well on a garland along the mantelpiece, on a wreath or from a length of ribbon in a window.
